DATR is the romantic pairing of Dib and Tak. According to rumors, it was going to come true in the series finale Invader Dib; Dib and Tak were to forge an alliance to attempt to defeat Zim. They fail miserably, and Dib and Tak are banished to planet Saturn for conspiring to commit genocide on Tak's own people in exchange for Zim's defeat.

Dib offering Tak Valentine's day meat in Tak: The Hideous New Girl (Part One)
Dib and Tak are first seen interacting in Tak, the Hideous New Girl (Part One). Dib implies that Tak has shown interest in his paranormal studies; as it was only a snippet of their conversation before Zim shoved Dib out of the way, we don't know whether she was solely interested in Zim's alien origin or the broader scope of Dib's research.
Later, in Tak, the Hideous New Girl (Part Two), Dib tells Zim "I like Tak!", though he may have meant platonically. A few days afterward, when Tak catches Dib in her father's weenie stand (go with it), Dib acts embarrassed, saying "I can explain!"
